HTG Molecular Diagnostics Announces Second Companion Diagnostic Development Project with QIAGEN

TUCSON, Ariz. and VENLO, the Netherlands, July 27, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) – HTG Molecular Diagnostics, Inc. (Nasdaq:HTGM) (“HTG”), a provider of instruments, reagents and services for molecular profiling applications today announced the initiation of a second development program under the company’s Master Assay Development, Commercialization and Manufacturing Agreement (“Master Agreement”) with QIAGEN Manchester Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of QIAGEN N.V. (NASDAQ:QGEN) (Frankfurt Stock Exchange:QIA) (“QIAGEN”). HTG EdgeSeq technology will be used in the program to develop gene expression profiling (“GEP”) assays for use with next-generation sequencing (“NGS”) technology in support of another pharmaceutical company’s therapeutic development and commercialization programs.

HTG Molecular Diagnostics Completes Initial Technical Feasibility Testing with QIAGEN GeneReader NGS System

TUCSON, Ariz., March 23, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) – HTG Molecular Diagnostics, Inc. (Nasdaq:HTGM) (“HTG”), a provider of instruments, reagents, and services for molecular profiling applications, today announced that its HTG EdgeSeq technology has been successfully adapted for use with the QIAGEN GeneReader NGS System based on the results of initial technical feasibility tests. Results from samples tested with the HTG EdgeSeq DLBCL Cell of Origin Assay gene panel adapted for detection with the GeneReader NGS System showed strong correlation (r = 0.98) to data previously generated on the MiSeq sequencer.

(Nasdaq:HTGM) (“HTG”), a provider of instruments and reagents for molecular profiling applications and QIAGEN Manchester Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of QIAGEN N.V. (NASDAQ:QGEN) (Frankfurt Stock Exchange:QIA); “QIAGEN”), announced a Master Assay Development, Commercialization and Manufacturing Agreement (“Agreement”). This Agreement creates a framework for both companies to combine their technological and commercial strengths with the goal to offer pharmaceutical companies a complete NGS-based solution for the development and commercialization of companion diagnostics, with a focus in oncology. Together with the parties’ entry into the Agreement, QIAGEN North American Holdings, Inc., another QIAGEN subsidiary, made a minority investment in HTG’s common stock.
