HTG EdgeSeq chemistry

The HTG EdgeSeq chemistry is a sample and library preparation method for sequencing-based quantitative assays. The schematic below provides an overview of the chemistry steps from sample to library prep with addition of tags (barcodes) and sequencing adapters. The pooled libraries may be sequenced using most NGS platforms.

 

Sample Types

Sample collection and processing can be one of the most challenging aspects of sample preparation for any type of genetic analysis whether it be for RT-PCR, microarray, or next-generation sequencing (NGS). However, with the HTG EdgeSeq extraction-free chemistry, a wide variety of sample types including precious formalin-fixed, paraffin embedded (FFPE) samples, are supported. For frozen tissues, RNA extraction is recommended.
