Endogenous Control Array

Endogenous controls, also known as “housekeeper genes” serve a critical purpose in the normalization of gene expression data. Proper selection of stable endogenous controls is key to successful assay development.

HTG Molecular’s endogenous control assays are used to identify a set of normalization genes for a custom assay, to mitigate bias when an endogenous gene is over- or under-expressed, or to predict gene expression levels across various tissue types prior to testing on an assay. Endogenous controls may also be used as basic QC measures for samples to be run on any gene expression assay utilizing HTG Molecular’s qNPA technology.

HTG Molecular recommends the endogenous control arrays as outlined below, or an endogenous control array may be custom designed through the Custom Array Development (CAD) process. Please contact for more information.
